The Toshiba Satellite C855-S5194 15.6" Laptop. This comes with the Windows 8 operating system which definitely has gained some ground with users especially that commercial campaign making it look simple and easy. It also comes with a 640 gig hard drive on top of that it comes with six gigs of RAM. If you don’t know six gigs of RAM will get you in the door, you can run ProTools and other heavy software programs as well. You also can play DVDs and it looks like it burns DVDs as well and it connects to HDMI or should I say it has an HDMI port and a built-in WebCam as well.
Of course it comes with Wi-Fi and apparently a powerful 2.50 GHz Intel core processor, so overall the specs on this thing are looking pretty decent. Also it has USB 3.0 technology and it seems like you can adjust the settings so you don’t necessarily waste too much electricity, when your changing it. It has a 15.6 screen with LED backlight a truly bright HD display can’t really go wrong with this one, I mean the specs really add up. It has 17 reviews, eight people gave it five stars, five people gave it four stars, to people gave it two stars, and two people gave it one star. Some people were having problems with the trackpad so that probably would be something to look at but that might just be a settings issue the battery life is about four hours altogether and looks like it works well with the office programs. The surfing seems to be pretty decent as well, once again it uses the Windows 8 operating system it seems like this laptop just breezes through. After looking over this machine I have concluded that the Toshiba Satellite C855-S5194 15.6" Laptop deserves a 9 1/2 out of 10.
